The Studio
SKINHUB+ is a private Markham studio run by Maya. There is no waiting room churn and no rushed handoff. The room is reset and sterilized between every appointment.
We review your history, goals, and skin type, then confirm you are a candidate.
Brow or lip architecture is drawn and approved by you before any pigment is opened.
Numbing is applied throughout, so most clients describe the session as mild pressure.
You leave with written aftercare and a touch-up window booked four to eight weeks out.

Permanent makeup, or PMU, is the controlled implantation of cosmetic pigment into the upper layers of the skin. It softens over time rather than washing off, so it is best described as semi-permanent.
Typically one to three years, depending on skin type, sun exposure, skincare actives, and aftercare. Most clients return for a colour refresh once a year.
Usually two to four years. Lips push pigment out faster than brows, so a top-up after the initial heal is part of the process.
A corrective step for lips with cool, grey, or uneven tone. Warm pigment is layered first to balance the base so the final blush colour reads true.
Topical numbing is applied before and during the session. Most clients report mild pressure or scratching rather than pain, and lips tend to feel more sensitive than brows.
No true downtime. Expect some redness and swelling for a day or two, then flaking as the area heals over roughly seven to ten days.
PMU is not performed on clients who are pregnant or nursing, on Accutane, undergoing chemotherapy, or managing certain skin, blood, or autoimmune conditions without physician clearance.
A resurfacing treatment that creates controlled micro-channels in the skin to trigger collagen production, improving texture, scarring, and fine lines.
Peels address pigmentation, dullness, congestion, and uneven texture by accelerating cell turnover. Strength is matched to your skin and goals.
